Savannah turns 2, too!

Savannah had a luau party theme and Jana went all out! We had yummy burgers, hot dogs, watermelon, 7-layer dip, homemade salsa (thank-you Hedges!), fresh squeezed lemonade from Jana's tree, and a beautiful cake shaped like palm tree. Savannah got a nice wooden swing set for her birthday. Sadly I didn't take a picture of it, we were too busy making sure the kids didn't' knock each other off of it. Next time I am there I will take a picture. The kids also had a blast "whacking" (more like gently tapping) the pinata. The wives were too busy taking pictures so the husbands had to help the kids swing.

Joe swung a little too hard and Savannah swung with the bat. Savannah wasn't very happy but Joe got a good hit and it was pretty funny :)

Shaylin is really going to show our kids up in sports. She is the only one that held the bat correctly and was able to swing by herself.
Anthony was strong enough to hold the bat with one hand, but couldn't really swing it. So he decided to just punch the pinata. Could this be a sign that anger management is in the future? :)
Anthony loves bubbles. In fact he was actually licking the bubble wand. Dad showed Anthony how to blow bubbles the right way. When Anthony tried and failed he went back to licking.
