October Part 2

Oct 25th
Usually every Sunday after church we went go for a walk as a family. It is good family time and also the only exercise we get these days (so sad). It is also nice because usually the boys fall asleep. It is funny because Anthony sleeps on Adrian; you would think it would the other way around, since Anthony is bigger then Adrian. Even in their sleep Anthony seems to be wrestling Adrian. Patrick taught Anthony how to play hide-and-seek, since Anthony can count to ten Patrick taught Anthony to cover his eyes and count (notice Anthony has his hands on his face and is counting but Adrian is the only closing his eyes)
Adrian thought counting was fun too...

Adrian was being so snugly, so Meagan took a picture.
Anthony has been really into pretend. His new favorite trick is making sock puppets out of the socks he wearing...
Oct 26th
Anthony finally fits into his motorcycle jacket, so he put on one of Daddy's helmets and sped around the house
"CHEESE!"

Adrian loves to wear Daddy's helmets too. Don't you just want to return his hug?
It has been a while since I posted a "bump" picture (as Grammie has dubbed it). Here we are at 21 weeks

Anthony loves to go camping; for real and pretend. The boys and Daddy make tents out of blankets and chairs/strollers, and go camping in the office. Adrian tried to walk through the blankets
Meagan loves to take random pictures. Here Anthony is saying "Hey! No more pictures!"
Anthony is growing up so fast! He looks like a little man in this picture.

Meagan is the Activity Day leader for girls 8-11 years. The week of Halloween she had a Halloween party for the girls. It was so much fun! The girls had a good time and Meagan enjoyed taking pictures of them being silly. Being the only leader and having to hold Adrian the hold time, she forgot to take a picture of all the girls in their outfits...but the pictures she took are still hilarious!

Bobbing for apples....

Don't know the official name of this game, but you have your hands tied behind your back and you have to eat the donut off the string...
Painting pumpkins...though some girls got into body art... :)
Pin the nose of the witch...

Oct 28th
Adrian starting singing "the Wheels on the Bus" during dinner...Here's his "round and round" movements.
Anthony was making Adrian laugh as he tried to get the measuring tape to touch the ceiling.
We decided to do a test run with their costumes. Meagan made them both so we wanted to make sure they fit okay before Halloween. Our ghouls are so handsome!
This ghost is hungry for mummy...
Meagan loves Adrian's mummy bum

Since 'the girls' (the activity day girls) got to paint pumpkins Anthony and Adrian wanted to too. In these next couple pictures their movements are exactly the same.

you know when the tongue sticks out Anthony's concentrating

Adrian did really well using the brush and had lots of fun dipping and painting

Adrian didn't stay clean for long, it soon got all over his arms
Then Anthony painted his ear and the fly came to check it out
Anthony thought it was funny so he also painted his chin
and his lips
Then he painted Adrian's nose and they shared a good laugh
so Anthony continued to paint Adrian's face
Adrian enjoyed it
and Anthony enjoyed painting him
Anthony also discovered how to make his hand print on the plastic
Adrian is a good copy cat and he soon had his hands covered in paint and was banging the table

and then went to bigger messes of trying to stack the cups of paint

and painting the plastic
and trying to dump out the paint...good thing it was goopy finger paint
Now that they are done making messes they boys are 'washing' thier hands
using the paint as soap
'squish!'
Anthony has HULK hands
When Adrian moved on to taste tasting the paint, we called it quits and cleaned up
Their silliness continued as they raided the pantry and found a lunch box. It was quite entertaining as a hat

Later that night Fry's Food has a halloween festival where the kids could trick or treat in the store, decorate cookies and get balloons. Anthony decorated a bat with lots of icing and sprinkles
Adrian just got a small orange pumpkin cookie, but he enjoyed it
Anthony enjoying his Bat
and not saving anything for later
When we brought the balloons home they floated to the ceiling. The boys were mesmerized.

After our date night the boys were too cute. Here's Anthony sneaking sips of Daddy's soda
and Adrian playing with special motorcycles
Oct 31st
Happy Halloween! Our chapel had a tri-ward trunk or treat. Meagan loves to decorate the trunk and hand out candy, but as usual we were running late and didn't get to set up our trunk, so we had this huge bucket of candy that we weren't sure what we going to do with. In addition to trunk or treat there was a chili cook off, corn bread, cookie decorating, and a cotton candy machine. Adrian is our good eater so he loved the chili
Anthony favored the cotton candy

When we got home the boys were running on candy power. Anthony hoped on his motorcycle...
Ghost Rider
Adrian is the most adorable mummy
They are too busy eating candy to say cheese
The boys in their complete outfits...

Adrian had the stickiest cheeks
Meagan had to take another picture of Adrian's cute mummy bum
"aaahhh! a g-g-g-GHOST!"
Adrian's ghost imitation
Meagan was a witch
complete with neon green spider sandals
spiders in her hair
and webbed eye lashes
Patrick was Dr. Hammer from Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog

Our pumpkin fell out of the car but we were able to piece it together for a picture. Anthony picked the design and helped trace it on the pumpkin
Wondering about our big pot of candy we couldn't hand out? Well, like last year, we decided to leave it on the porch for teens to raid becuase there was seriously about 10 pounds of candy. After it had been outside for a few minutes, Patrick went out to get an Almond Joy. When he opened the door the entire bucket was gone! The teens not only took the candy (which we didn't care about), but they took our bucket! How rude! Meagan loved her bucket so she went shopping through all the Halloween clearences till she found another one. Boo to you till next Halloween!
